Work...

Started changing addresses. Got Synergy, Alinta, Optus phone and internet transferred. Optus, however, will take about 10 working days. Great! At least I was expecting that.

Went for final inspection. Left at 11:15. Surprisingly, got the keys at the end. So, its not official, then. But it is unofficial. Back by 12.

More work...

Had 15 minute actual lunch at 1 - toasted sandwiches.

More work...

Gave Mogli and Tomato a lift to Mogli's house (cos that's where Tomato's car was).

Went home and got changed.

Mogli came over. Filled up his car and 'Granny' ute.

Drove badly - mainly cos I couldn't really see out the back. And the weight was weird. And the acceleration wasn't good. And it was....y'know...different.

Took a while finding the proper door keys (out of a choice of about 20, plus it was pitch black except for Mogli's mobile phone light) and then a little while longer finding a light switch.
Looked around the house a bit first, cos Mogli still hadn't seen it.

Unloaded the stuff. Doesn't look like much so far.

Mogli left. Drove the ute back home.

Watched a bit of Big Brother.

Then took my good ol' own car and got the chicken BLT meal from Hungry Jacks. Yay! Damn tasty.
But should've got the large size, with onion rings and a vanilla thickshake.
OH WELL!
The guy basically didn't give me the option.

Watched more Big Brother. Really, its not good.

Watched the final two episodes of Sopranos season 3.

Slept too late - again!

Went to Mogli's dad's place. Funness.

Got the call arranging settlement for tomorrow at 2:15. Hyperventilating...

Went to Epic. Much better than yesterday.
Drew money. Seems to be happening a lot more often nowadays. Not a good sign.

Ate a muffin. But not the pear!

And then, out of the blue, got a call from our friend Mr Wee for final inspection, which basically has to be tomorrow at 11:30.

Went for class. Yay!
Had coffee and snickers. Tried to warm up the snickers so it would taste more. More flavour. Yeah! Didn't really work.

Got up fairly late, like 7 or something, so I wasn't ready till 7:30. Guess it must be the winter blues setting in.
Made coffees anyway.

Partners back.... Great.

Had morning tea, though, at least. I forget what for, exactly. Goodo, but.

Called the old mobile phone people. They said that it has now been cancelled and that that cancellation has been backdated.
Yeah...right!

Got a call from the bank guy, who's back from holidays. He said everything was set to settle on Wednesday.
Yeah...right!

Had toasted sandwiches.

Went to Epic. The coffee was not up to the usual standard today; it was cold and foamy.

Got the form in the mail to withdraw all my money from poorly performing Accountants Superfund. Um...again.
Shows how stingy they are - there was no reply paid envelope enclosed. Cheapskates! Plus, they're charging me like $40 as a withdrawal fee.

Also got a package collection form, to be collected from the post office next to Curtin, with no other option. Great! But I'm leaving early on Friday, so I guess that's my window.

Watched Friends, then...the Big Brother 'going in' show. SIGH!

Watched Red Dwarf - yay! But its the last episode of the good series - boo!

Watched part of Good News Week. Nyeh.

So played Wii instead - tennis, then about 4 boxing matches where I got KO in the first round. I rock! Seriously, its so much fun. Not gonna be so fun when it gets to the later rounds and I start getting beaten up instead. I take it too personal, see.

Didn't get a drink; which was, in hindsight, a mistake.

Got movies from Leo. I wasn't expecting much from them. Wise move.

Watched Idiocracy first. Idiotic! And not in a good way.

Watched Little Children, while doing some ironing. I thought from the preview that it would be bad. And - it was! Terribly immature, really.

Watched some Sopranos; the Pine Barrens episode. Super!

Played some Wii. Finally took the plunge and took a shot at boxing. Didn't do too well, but I got a KO in the second round. Tiring, or what?

Leo came. He took his movies back. Yay!

Went to the local park. But there was nothing there but sand. Guessing the cricket nets ain't coming back. Ever.

So went to Apsley instead. Played cricket; essentially in the dark. Thus it didn't last super long.

Went to Maccas for dinner. Food took ages, burger was insanely small and, of course, there were no shakes. So, in summary, a fine dining experience.

Had 9 weetbix. 9! Thanks, Maccas.

Watched Rove. Nyeh. Didn't finished till just before 11.

Did shopping. Didn't buy....stuff what we can't mention but Mogli told me to buy.

Based on V's insistence, watched U2 3D. Pretty awesome. If just for the 3D stuff. Seriously, its like you're actually there.

Played some more Wii - tennis and then tennis, baseball, bowling and golf training.

Went to Ali's house - steamboat! It wasn't that bad, cos I had lots of beef and chicken.

Played Mahjong. But it was too easy! Got a full house and some 7 pair thing. Basically, I took everyone's money.

Slept just before 12.

Got woken up at 6:30, cos I forgot to unset my alarm.

Got woken up again at 8:30, cos my mum rang. Didn't ring back.

Got out of bed properly at 10; I think there might have been someone at the door.

Played some Wii.
A bit of tennis, and a bit of training.
Then did the first circuit in master's class but lost the first two events, and then I completely missed a shot in my most likely to win event (archery), where I'd gone for 'double or nothing' so I gave up. But I still had to do the last event, which of course I totally stunk at.

Watched episode 5 of Sopranos season 3. I think that old guy must be somebody famous.... Or not. He's got a good 'old gangster' type voice, though.

FINALLY put away all my clothes, while watching parts of JC Superstar. Um, again.

Watched episodes 6 and 7 of Sopranos season 3, partly while doing some more packing.
I've packed 3 and a half large boxes and 3 small boxes - and that seems to be it of, basically, the stuff that I'm not using. Which doesn't seem like very much. I'm worried that, once again, there's a lot more than I realise and I'm not gonna realise it till the last moment before I move.

Did some cleaning, too. I was only thinking recently that the container at the bottom of my coffee machine must be almost full, and I noticed all this coffee water around the machine on the bench and the floor, so I figured that time is now. And then some. So I rinsed all the removable parts as well. And also cleaned the microwave a bit - the plate had a spill on it from before.
And then the main cutting etc bench was rather mucky - partly due to that there had been stuff sitting there which I have now packed.

Went to Mogli's house at 5. Hung around there, but only till he was ready. Left at 5:15.

Went and got petrol. EX!
Should've gone to the Caltex Woolworths one nearer his house.
OH WELL!

Parked on Ord street in West Perth. Got to the game about 6 - probably earlier.
Had chicken treat. EX! But less AV then everything else there. Probably.
Watched ANZAC stuff - great! Bugle player made some bungles.

Saw Dockers lose. Surprise, surprise! But it was only one point - and they were leading most of the game. And to Geelong! Geeze....
Could this be the start of something big? Um, no.

Dropped Mogli back. Took......stuff. It's probably best if I don't say what.

Went to Ali's house at 10:30. Ate some food. Mmmm....food!
Seriously, they were some damn good mini sausage rolls.

Played Mahjong. Of course. What else do I go there for? Oh yeah....
Left about 1:30.

Played Wii - completed all the advanced circuits, then played more tennis. Did the fitness test again - and once again I'm 27.

Watched SVU. Dramatic! But not really in a special victims type sense.

Started watching The Philadelphia Story. A comedy of errors!

Since the pie died, I was still really hungry so went to Miss Maud's and got a choc muffin. I shoulda got the chocolate/custard danish though. OH WELL!

A lot better than last time, at least. And, it finished on time. I guess.

Got call from old superfund, asking to update details. I said I shouldn't have any money there, but I did! So got them to send me a form to transfer money to MLC instead - AGAIN!

FINALLY, got the call from the settlement agent. Transferred all my money to CBA in preparation. Probably just a BIT too early...

Filled out mail routing form for Australia Post. Cos like $24 for 3 months, which is cheaper than I thought.

Did some ironing. It just never stops, really.

Hung washing. Strategically, to avoid the worst of the rain.

Played Wii. One advanced circuit, then table tennis on Olympics. Then I played some normal tennis and then did the fitness age test. It came out as 27; how DOES it know???

Watched the rest of Sopranos season 3 episode 3 then the whole of episode 4.

Set-up Wii. And thus played some tennis, then completed all the beginner level circuits of the Olympics. Pretty easy, actually. Which is not the point.

Thought Red Dwarf was on at 8:30, then at 8:20 (while playing Wii) remembered that it actually starts at 8. So saw the end (of Rimmerworld). Great.

Watched the rest of Sopranos season 3 episode 2 and then half of episode 3.

Got up about 10. Guess I overslept. Everyone else seemed to think so, anyway.

Had muffins and Turkish bread and Malaysian coffee (no milk!).

Had rather cold shower. Donno what's going on with the hot water thing - mind of its own, etc, etc.

Fed chickens. Still nobody dead.
Checked rain. Not as much as it sounded like last night.
Took photo of bunny orchids.

Went to Brookland Valley. Walked around a bit then it started to pour so ran into the cellar door bit.

Went to Grayln. Looked at the vines. Saw some grapes; how nice. Just one bunch, though.

Raining.... Drove around in the rain. At times, rather heavy.

It was time to look for somewhere for lunch.
Went to Bootleg. Full!
Left and went the wrong way for a while, then turned around and went to Evans & Tate. Closed!
Went to Dunsborough. Had lunch at Adrian's Seafood. I, of course, had steak. It was like sliced steak. Nyeh.

Got coffee from the 'other' espresso place - not Yallingup Coffee Co. and not Tealicious. Across the road from the latter (and the former, I guess, since they are almost next to each other).

Went back. Got luggage and left. Forever! Temporarily....

Went to Busselton jetty. Saw (eventually) a full arc of rainbow, plus shadow.

Drove back. Long and tiring. Well, dur!

Went straight to auntie's house. Had dinner. Didn't eat much...too tired, maybe? More like cos we had lunch at like 2:30.

Went to Mogli's. Got Wii! And Mogli's coffee thermos, with milk, so I can make one for him tomorrow.

Went home. Unpacked and that.

Slept about 10:30.

Skirting around the edge of nowherere

Got up about 9:30. Cold....
Had some bacon. Fairly cold. But, hey, its bacon.

Had a not very hot shower. The booster switch for the hot water seems to have gone missing.

Fed chickens. The rooster (who is not well) had managed to fall so that its head was stuck underneath the tin wall. Had to 'remove' it and leave it sitting in the middle of the yard (since it can't really walk). Everyone had assumed it was dead.

Checked rain. Not much.

Got firewood from shed. So we won't have the hot water problem again, at least.

Went to look for fishing spots. Donno if they found anything; I stayed near the car.

Went to some bay and did a 400m walk to Castle Rock. Took a souvenir rock; cos I felt like stealing something.

Looked at Eagle Bay. A lot more bushy and enclosed and private than I thought.

Went to Dunsborough. Got coffee from the Yallingup (how ironic!) Coffee Co. Nyeh. The first few sips ruined it - I guess after that it wasn't that bad, really.

Went to Gracetown. There was supposed to be a good eating place there - NOPE!

Went to Margaret River. Had to get petrol - like 158c, or something. SIGH!
Walked around a bit. People went and got meat for dinner from the butcher. Yay.

Had a doner kebab from some Turkish shop. Pretty standard kind of kebab - so, good.

Got a sponge from Coles to stop wiper blade squeaking. Actually, it was like three sponges, and then I only used a tiny tear off from one. But I guess it was only $1.70, so that's OK. And, unbelievably, it seemed to work.

Went to Voyager. Hasn't really changed....
Drove in and then straight out of Leuwin.

Went to Laurence; to look at the toilet. Yes; it was insane. Unfortunately, 13's brother took photos; but I didn't dare.

Went back. Almost straight away, 13 and his brother decided to go fishing. And I, being the only other male classifiable as 'young' adult was obliged to tag along.
No fish. Shock!

Came back.
Checked parents mail and charged my ipod; even though I really only used it to and from the fishing spot.
Read some book. So it wasn't pointless taking it, after all.

Had steak for dinner. Not bad. A tad underdone, perhaps. Good potatoes.

Played Wii Olympics. Hours of entertainment!

Slept about 1:30.

Rain on a cold tin roof..... The attic; its not the best sleeping location in the world.

Saw 13 and his family. So, there you go, then.
Had pizza. But only one slice.

Played Wii; Rayman Rabbits (or something) then Olympics.

Slept about 12:30.

Did packing. Pretty much most of it. I could just take all my luggage to work tomorrow. But I won't.

Watched Friends, some cooking show (on the ABC - ew!) and the Biggest Loser, which, surprise surprise, my mum did not approve of. Watched a tiny bit of Rules of Engagement.

Went to Bella Rosa in Vic Park - essentially Mogli's recommendation. I had pasta, which was pretty tasty. And it was nice and fast.
But then had coffee, which was not great. Burned flavour. Yum...

Went to airport straight after. It was raining slightly. But not really.

Watched more Mafia! It has suddenly become a lot less funny.

Big Day Out

Finally - money. I was a little worried cos this is the first time I've gotten my salary paid into the new Commonwealth account instead of the old ANZ account. And it usually comes through the 14th night, but instead it comes on the 15th morning. Which means when I'm setting up my home loan repayments, I should probably say the 16th instead of the 15th...

Had training. Coffee! Well, pretty much hot milk. Still....

Finished waching JC Superstar. Yay! Seriously, that's the best film about Jesus I've ever seen. Though, really, I haven't seen as many as you'd think.

They didn't take the wine, cos they said if it had to sit in the car all the time during the football it would go weird. So now they have to take it when they go back the next time, which is after their holiday in like 4 weeks.
Had lunch, cos they brought sandwiches. Chicken and stuff. Great.

Watched Simpsons (NSync!), Gladiators (not watching THAT again!)/Biggest Loser (I kept switching) and parts of Rove.

Had risotto with steak. Great! Seriously...

Looked for fee clause in my contract, cos Mogli said that someone told him that when they left they had to pay back fees for completed CA units, cos they hadn't finished the whole thing at that employer; and apparently the HR lady checked and that was the case here. But mine didn't say nothing about it. Would hardly surprise me though.

Tried to watch Power of 10. CRAP!

Watched Red Dwarf. It was the western episode this time; great stuff. Though I like the longer drawnout version in the book better. I guess half hour episodes is kinda limiting. Still, funny stuff.

Watched Sopranos season 1 episode 10. Can't believe I'm almost done with an entire season in 3 days; though before I watched 4 seasons in 4 days, so....

Watched more Sopranos - up to episode 8 or so. Did some ironing. Blatantly defied the power going off every crease, or so. Though it did wear me down in the end.

Went to Apsley at 4. Cricket.... Groovy.

After, went to Winthrop with Leo and The Prophet. Had kebab. Tasty stuff.
Also got Pepsi Max, so I could win a bachelor pad. But I didn't. So what did I buy it for then? Some second chance draw nonsense?

Stood around for a while afterwards near the scene of some parking space murder, or something. Leo was trying to convince me it was cold.
Thus, missed Gladiators! Aaarggghh! That's twice, now!

Watched episode 9 of Sopranos.

Watched most of Rove. I skipped both the interviews, and thus some other bits as well, as far as I could tell.

Watched The 39 Steps. Not a bad film; full of holes and that of course, but what can you do, really?

Did shopping. Such an exciting experience. I'm always half thinking about trying new stuff like side-dishes and the frozen food section and the like. My main problem, strangely, is that usually I have enough trouble just fitting my bare essentials into my basket; I think I normally have too many items for the express lane as it is.

Rain, rain, rain. So much for global warming; had all my lights on for most of the day cos it was so damn dark.

Did washing anyway. In my defense, the rain had stopped by then; but it was almost certainly gonna start up again that night.

Watched 5 episodes of Sopranos season 1. Mainly cos season 6 was so crap that I have to go back to the start and relive the glory days, so to speak. And, of cos, there is nothing to watch on TV on Saturdays.

Polo day........... Yawn.

Made coffees. Again. But now the cups are just too....used.

Sold Woolworths and Rio. Yay; money! But still not enough; I have ANZ, Wesfarmers and Ozgrowth yet to sell, and, at best, they aren't up. At all, really. I'm getting to the stage where a slight increase above the 0 and they are so outta here. My loan awaits!

Had toasted sandwich. And curry puff, cos Mogli traded; don't really know why.

Went to Epic. Its always good there.
Drew money.
Forgot to buy beans; mainly cos WAB? and Tomato were there too, and Mogli kept going on and on about how he was leaving, even though I thot the plan was to keep Tomato out of the loop, cos he.....hasn't got his stripes yet, shall we say.

Got email for schedule of HR consultant lady, whose coming on Monday. And man, can't wait for that. Yeah. I think I'm gonna have to just not say nothing. Too little, too late, etc.

Watched Friends.

Had Honey BBQ twister (new flavour!) after very long line at KFC. It wasn't terribly terrible.

Didn't have no plans to stay around, but left almost straight away anyway, cos I got a call from Mogli, who got job his job with BDO.
And I ain't gonna be philosophical. I mean, any more so.

Made coffees. Cos Mogli keeps pestering me for one; and yes I understand that he just enjoys being pesky but still.....

Went to city client. No morning tea. Seriously, what are they not paying me for?

Met Mogli at BDO on the way back, cos he had to go there for what he thought was a casual tour but actually turned out to be a rather formal 2nd interview. Someone's not so cocky now...

Got a strange call from bank guy. He basically said that he had my birth certificate, and then that he had to go cos someone was on the other line, but that he'd call back. So I didn't watch Ellen; I just hung around the phone. And he didn't call back....
Ate toasted sandwich.
Went to Epic. Just myself, cos Mogli had already used his lunchbreak. I got takeaway for him too, though

Shares almost back at the level of last year. I'm pretty much ready to sell Rio and Woolworths. I would've sold them today, but the market was already closed.

Left just before five for my EY interview. Too honest, I think. WWJD? indeed. Bah!

Watched Friends, Biggest Loser, SVU.

Washed doona, cos I only just started using it this week; its been at the bottom of a box for about 3 months, so twas rather dirty. Now I will be cold.

Bankwest phoned; apparently the 'statement' (a printout off the web) that I sent in order to get my linked account changed was no good cos it doesn't show my name. So....great.

Then Mogli was having some jeans saga where he bought some $300 pair as a present and then they didn't fit and then the store had closed (permanently) so he found the supplier (or something) and needed to go to the Subiaco post office.
So after we went and got takeaway coffee from Vero. Not great. But I kept the cup.

Work, work, work.

Got changed straight after.
Went to Koorong. Tried to find a good devotional. Not much success.

Found Leo; wasn't that hard, really. Gave him more weetbix cards.
Got Sparrows takeaway. Not great; too much of those fried fish things.
Had Diet Coke. Surprisingly alright.

Had class. Mainly about numbers in Numbers. A bit on Deuteronomy......but of cos not much. Sigh.

Had tea and Snickers. But its too cold.... The Snickers, I mean. Tea was OK. Not as good as last week; donno what happened there.

Ate four weetbix - from the wrong container! Cos I was supposed to eat them from the box where there were a few remaining after I filled up my container, but I ate them from the container instead. See?

I think it took me longer getting to work today than yesterday. Why? I donno. What am I - a traffic...guy?

Activated my Commonwealth Bank keycard. So that's all ready. For what? There ain't no money in that account.

Gave my authority to change account letter to the guy here that does the payroll. But that's only 2 weeks away....

Tried to get my Computershare portfolio updated so I can see Ozgrowth online. Not a great success...though they didn't ring me back, so that suggests there is no problem.

Training....long and pointless. About super fund audits. Oh. Great.

Got Subway for lunch, cos Mogli forgot his lunch. Met Honeyboy there, too. Damn, see that's the problem when I have people that I don't see very often; I can never remember their alias.
Then went to Epic. Ah... reasonable temperatures. How nice it is.

Got wine from the wine client guy, who wandered in at the end of the day. Surprisingly, I was surprised. I guess when he said 'start of April' I was expecting sometime AFTER the 1st day.

Dropped Mogli at an interview. So, he got in first after all. Of course, who knows what will come of it.

My main gripe is that he uses MY alias for MY friend! BAH!
