Homer: "Grand Funk Railroad paved the way for Jefferson Airplane, which cleared the way for Jefferson Starship.
The stage was now set for the Alan Parsons Project, which I believe was some form of hovercraft..."
I am considering buying the Jefferson Airplane album Surrealistic Pillow. But I'm not sure, so thought I might get a greatest hits instead. And, when browsing, I discovered that there was one big greatest hits thing where they combined Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship and Starship, since they are all the same band, really.... And Starship did 'We built this city' and 'Sara'. Fascinating.
Got up about 6:50. Too early again, probably. Made lunch, and it was still too early. Posted a letter, and it was still too early - but only just.
Didn't do any work for about the first 2 hours, partly due to the normal not doing work thing, but mostly due to Mogli wanting help with his newly appointed role (in an official sense) of Accru Organising Guy.
So first was the Accru staff bulletin for April, which only arrives a month later. And the Perth arm is very pathetic. And it still was pathetic - but, y'know, we made up as much stuff as possible.
And then he was organising the staff getaway to Rottnest in June. And trying to make everybody happy - I told him it would never work. Ai...
Went down to the local shop at lunch, but only cos Mogli is too scared of looking like a loner. I was half thinking about getting a Giant Sandwich, but decided that I didn't really feel like one. Then after I'd eaten lunch I decided that I should've gotten one. Too bad, I guess.
Then in the afternoon Mogli was having a sad about having to do phones on Thursday. But he went and complained about it, and the receptionist was fired, or something. People dropping like flies around here.
Left at 5. Mainly cos I hadn't had any thing to do since about 3.
It was raining again, which was nice, but it didn't really last that long into the evening. I spent most of the night having to convince myself over and over that it was a holiday tomorrow. I finally managed to do it by watching a Sienfeld marathon (the first 5 episodes of season 1 inc. the pilot) straight - although I paused for Big Brother and The Simpsons in the middle.
A Big Brother wasn't that good - cos it was really just the bits what they showed yesterday. Nyeh.
The Simpsons wasn't that good, either. It was the three stories in one thing.
Seinfeld was good, tho....
Discovered after that that the music videos converted by itunes are fine - except that they are without sound. Which is really just great. One day, I'll figure out the logic behind that; for now its beyond me.
Slept about 11:30.
