Got up at 9, but stayed in bed for a while. Then I realised that, based on the number of emails this week, there will probably be a lot of cheques to write. So I had a shower and left at like 9:45.
And, yes, there were hardly any cheques to write. At least I managed to get to service slightly earlier though. That hasn't happened for a while.
Ended up sitting next to 13. Who is like the most immature guy ever. He's like turning 28 this year, or something? Frankly, I don't know how his wife copes. Actually, I think she joins in most of the time. You just wouldn't think it.
Waited around for a while afterwards. But V decided he was going for training - and like Basics 101 as well. I was too hungry, really, so decided to go home instead.
And Jesters was like out of pies. So I just went hope and ate snacky stuff. Ai. And drank like 3 cups of tea - I donno what was going on there.
Watched the end of V for Vendetta, which was too much talking in the end. By everybody, really. I mean, for an oppressive totalitarian government, they were pretty soft. Although they talked nasty.
Watched The Jungle Book after that. Saw a lot of Mowgli, of course. I tried not to laugh, really.
As for the movie - nyeh. Like Snow White, really. All a bit silly.
But I did notice that the same guy who does the voice for Kaa (the snake) does the voice of the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland - or his twin brother. And the guy that does the voice for Sheer Khan (the tiger) sounds exactly like Jeremy Irons' Scar from The Lion King.
Watched part of Kill Bill vol. 1, after finishing off the Road to Perdition. I was just sitting there admiring the woofer and stuff when they were having that first fight with Venita Green.
But then I had to stop it and watch School of Rock, cos I'd seen the start and the end but not the middle. Yeah, it was OK. I mean, yeah. Some good music, I suppose. Mainly references to good music. Kinda. I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. So, great.
Slept about 11:30.
Its a bit late, I suppose, since this is (apparently) from Australia Day, but here's one of those photos that did the rounds.....horribly altered in various ways, and stuff, but it still looks OK. So, yeah.
