I was looking at some movie site today, and it had these clips from film, and one (I think it was Pirates of the Carribean) had the tagline 'the pirates who don't do anything'. Which reminded me of that song.
Got out of bed about 6:40, mainly cos I needed to go to the bathroom. Didn't have time for cereal.
Spent a fair portion of my morning helping Mogli with MYOB journals - he spent a long time complaining that all his work was too hard and he hated it, so I finally had to offer to assist myself - just so he would stop whingeing. But, then again, thats the majority of our conversations, so its better to have some whingeing. Hes still got the car, at least.....heh.
Had lunch and watched a bit of Seinfeld. Then I went to church to pick up accounts stuff.
Got back around 3:30, and tried to do some stuff, but couldn't really manage it.
Didn't have dinner, due to sporadic eating during the afternoon.
Watched Goodfellas - well, till 10. Then I was tired and depressed so I went to bed.
Yes....got some inappropriately timed (is there any other sort) bad news. I'd say what it is, but it really is a bit too close to the surface, and I don't want to vent here lest I say something I regret.
But let me just say that I was thinking about this issue this week - and some would say that for it to come to the fore like this suggests that its a sign and thus its for the best. Well, God has never been wrong before, and He never will be wrong again but, if this is a sign
