"Mom, dad? This is Judy - she's my friend" James Dean, Rebel Without a Cause

Woke up with alarm at 7. Stayed in bed till about 7:45.

Worked 9-11. Yeah.....it was real urgent.

Had some nice rain on the way back. Nice in a 'difficult to see and almost crashing' kinda sense.

Finished off my ironing and watched Spartacus. A quite unlike Stanley Kubrick film - which is probably why he disowned it. A long show, but it didn't feel long. Lots of things which seemed to have been copied by Gladiator (apparently they're gonna make a sequel now...). Kirk Douglas looks almost exactly like his son, incidentally.

Did some accounts stuff - had to finish off the stuff for August, inc. the bank rec. It was real exciting.

Watched The Simpsons and Futurama, then part of the tape from last Wednesday, which was Futurama then most of Thank God You're Here. Then watched the final bit of the verdict of Australian Idol. Then watched two episodes of SVU, neither of which were super impressive. I'd actually seen the second one before; and the first one had some rock star who was giving his bad opinions of psychiatric drugs - which reminded me of Mogli and his Rock Star thing; I think mainly cos he looked kinda like one of the guys; Lucas, or whatever, without the weird dyed hair thing. Or all the bling-bling.
