That quote was on The Simpsons tonight - one of my favourites (Brother from Another Series) cos its got those Crane brothers from Frasier. Anyway, its funny.
Anyway, so I used that 'for I have been living under a box for the past 5 years' cos Mogli asked me today if I knew who Weird Al Yankovich was. Who, incidentally, was on The Simpsons yesterday. What a bizarre range of coincidences....
Got up about 6:50 again. Had breakfast and made lunch.
Despite it being Valentine's Day, there was no noticeable romantic goings on.
Finally got the inheritance from my Grandmother today, so I got to pay of my huge credit card debt (like $3.5k) and pay off the loan to my parents ($5k) and used most of the rest to buy shares. Anyway, it was very satisfying. And then, by the absolute close of banking hours (as it always is) we got our pay as well. So, yay, finally some money. And now well and truly in the black in my cash at bank(s) position.
Got a coffee from the coffee guy. I tried a skinny with 2 sugars. It wasn't really any better. Or different, really. Ai....
Went down to Strathfield at lunch, cos Mogli wanted some cable for his TV, and MD came along as well. Mogli got some other type of cable, but it was longer and cheaper, so I guess that's good for him.
Got a call from some guy from Michael Page at like 6 or something, and he basically told me that my previous interview (2 months ago) was a complete waste of time and I had to come in and do it all again. So I said 2pm Friday. And that's that, then.
There was absolutely nothing on TV after The Simpsons, so I started watching Fargo. It seems pretty OK, though it must be almost over. I actually stopped it cos nothing much was happening, although it keeps seeming like something is going to. Also, their accents, and that they kept saying 'yah' in that drawly Southern USA type way got pretty irritating. I think it was supposed to.
Slept about 10:30.
