Got up at 10 - it was thus too late to go shopping. I was then planning to go to Garbo and do Christmas etc shopping, but looked on the website and discovered that they're open tomorrow (the first day of Christmas Sunday trading), so decided to go then, in between the service and the CMC meeting.
Watched two episodes of Nip/Tuck. Its not as good as season 1 - they can't surprise me anymore.
Went to 13's place about 12:30. o was not there - she'd begun her holiday already. 13 said he was leaving like tomorrow, so...yeah. The whole Italy thing. And the US straight after - its like a month away.
Nam came over and we all had lunch - quite a lot of leftovers, cos 13 needed to clear all his house food. It ended up being way too much, but I had to swim, cos there was a new pump and the pool was so very nice and crystal blue. However, it was quite cold. Especially with the wind....but it was alright after a while.
Watched some Foxtel after that: a bit of The UK Weakest Link, then Just Shoot Me, then Robots, which had some good voices (namely Robin Williams), and a few good "robots in human situations" jokes, but was just a predictable kiddie movie in the end.
Then watched a bit of The Simpsons and a bit of the X-Files, then most of Saving Private Ryan, which is such a much better film than that Clint Eastwood one. Oh, well. I guess Clinty can't win em all.
Then 13 and Nam had to go to a Hawaiian beach themed party, so we went to Bullcreek Hawker and had 3 meat rice. Then the guy came out and said that 1 of them would be only 2 meat rice. But then they were all 3 meat rice, anyway.
Went straight home after that. Had to do the accounts for the CMC meeting tomorrow, and then begin preparing the salaries. I left most of it for tomorrow, but that will mean an awful lot of cheques to prepare.
Slept about 11 - I just couldn't stay up any longer.
