2 days to go....

Work - how interesting can this be?

I'm deliberately waking up later these days, since I can't get to the station early enough to catch the 6-car at about 7:15, so now I'm delaying myself to catch the one at 7:35. And it worked a treat today.
So I'm up to about page 220 of War, What is it Good For? - which only leaves 1100 to go....

Did some entering of other people's time sheets - the vacation clerks (and its pronounced clarks people, not clerks! aaaargh!!). That was something different, at least.
Unlike the rest of the day of going through accounts from 10 years ago to try and reconcile it as much as possible in some spreadsheet that I've been working on for at least a month. Tedium, tedium. Plus there's the added bonus that the constant need to focus plays havoc with my lenses. Or maybe that's just cos they're fortnightly and I've been wearing them for a month?

So much good stuff for morning tea today...... Lucky, cos my lunch is so small, cos I can only fit one roll in my lunchbox - unless I cut another in half, I guess. But then, I only have 4 for 3 days, anyway.

Left at 5.

Played more Ultima 9. Almost at the end of the abyss, but I spent at least 10 minutes looking for some big sea monster that I have to kill to complete the final 'element' in there and I seriously couldn't find it. So I gave up and watched an episode of Seinfeld instead.

Had roast kangaroo for dinner. Yes....
Well, I've never cooked roast before, and if you were there you probably would've been able to tell. Lets just say that it took a lot longer than I thought it would. And even when I was sure I'd burnt it I still don't think it was quite done. Or very tasty. Nyeh.

Slept too late again. I'll pretend to care. I should deliberately stay up really, really late tomorrow - but that'll likely make the day go even slower. Besides, I won't get that much sleep that night what with getting to Melbourne about 12 and then having to get to the hotel.....
